I'll be going to e175 training in denver, and was wondering what the schedule and pacing. Webits not hard to move to a major from a regional. Webskywest is the largest independently operated regional airline in the world. Webmany major airlines are in negotiations at this time, and many are contentious. They operate as united express on the west coast and out of the united denver hub.
It is hard to move if you have a sub par resume. That is where the majority of the pilots at the majors are coming from. The regionals hired many pilots they would not have touched 10 years ago. Those pilots will have a tougher time moving up. We have been contacted by major union legal teams regarding this issue.
